Happiness never decreases by being shared

I love the energy that comes with creating, with the making and the forming of something either completely new or of something I have never done quite in the same way before. It is always an act of discovery driven by curiosity. I also enjoy encouraging others to discover and fulfill their own creative potential. It is fascinating to learn about what they are moved to do.

Creativity is about abundance, about pointing the way forward to new possibilities and discovering not only the mysterious sources that spring from deep within ourselves, but that can surface in others as well.  Benjamin Disraeli said, “The greatest gift you can do for another is not just to share your riches but reveal to him his own.”

We create alone, because we wish to discover what is buried within us and be delighted with what emerges. We create in order to replenish our own actual work processes. And we create together in order to enjoy the adventures and challenges of finding answers from both within and without. Creativity is about giving and receiving. “For me, and for so many of us, creativity is a direct springboard to much that is positive in life. It is the catalyst to becoming energetic, vibrant, joyful, generous individuals and contributors to society.” (HAVE YOU EVER HAD A HUNCH? The Importance of Creative Thinking.)
